The opportunity has presented itself to us in the framework of this project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first half of 2023 we plan to open a branch of our counselling and intervention centre in Ro\u017e\u0148ava. As a part of our first work trip to Ro\u017e\u0148ava, we planned meetings and also wanted to find out about the possibilities of renting suitable premises for the branch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We met with the mayor of Ro\u017e\u0148ava, Mr. Domik, to whom we presented our organisation and our intention to open a branch of our counselling and intervention centre in the town. The mayor welcomed the fact that women from Ro\u017e\u0148ava and other places in the district will have more accessible help and support. At the same time, he was also willing to enable us a tour of one of the premises that the town offers for rent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>At the next meeting we got acquainted with the organisation Vidia Support Centre, n.o., which provides help to victims of crime. We talked about their experience with this work and about possible cooperation in the future. We will definitely go to Ro\u017e\u0148ava again soon to choose a suitable space for our branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The project \u201eWe stand with women. We protect and support them!\u201c benefits from a 486 622 \u20ac grant from Norway through the Norway Grants. The project has been co-financed from the State Budget of the Slovak Republic in the amount of 72 993 \u20ac. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the project is to increase availability of specialist counselling centres for women \u2013 survivors of intimate partner violence and their children in Kosice region by enhancing and increasing the quality of support services in the existing counselling centres in Ko\u0161ice, Michalovce and Spi\u0161sk\u00e1 Nov\u00e1 Ves and establishing new counselling centres in Ro\u017e\u0148ava, Gelnica and Sobrance.
